Guy Nixon

Guy founded Native in 1998 at a time when neither aparthotels nor build to rent were recognised terms in the UK property market.

Guy continues to lead the business and he’s a passionate believer that good design, coupled with exceptional service are key to driving revenue outperformance.

Ed Brookes

Ed joined the Native team in September 2017 and brings with him thirty years of experience in finance. As well as being responsible for all financial and commercial matters at Native he is also a major contributor to shaping and driving the delivery of its strategic objectives.

After training with General Motors in their Venture Capital division he went on to hold a number of senior roles including Head of UK Pricing and two CFO roles one of which was overseas. Ed has spent the last ten years in various CFO roles in the hospitality, leisure and distribution sectors.

Archie Hunter

Since joining the business in 2014, Archie has led Native’s portfolio growth across both the Aparthotel and Built to Rent platforms. Archie was previously part of the hotel investment team at Savills in London.

With a strong background in the hospitality sector, Archie is responsible for expanding Native’s investor-backed business, by proving the efficacy of the firm’s service-led approach to asset management. He is focused on building relationships with key institutional and private equity investment partners including Grosvenor, Aberdeen Asset Management, CBRE Global Investors, JLL and Kennedy Wilson.

Archie believes that PRS is poised to become the next major institutional asset class and is developing an approach which will set Native apart from the competition. This includes detailed modelling and research into the key drivers for each Native site as a way of delivering maximum return on investment.

Archie is a passionate advocate for high quality, future-fit and sustainable developments which makes him an ideal spokesperson for Native’s pioneering design and green credentials.

Will Westbrook

Will is Chairman of Native and a Managing Director in the Ares Real Estate Group, where he focuses on European real estate equity.

Prior to joining Ares in 2013, Will was a Director at AREA Property Partners, where he focused on origination and execution of investments. Will holds an M.A. from Edinburgh University in Politics and an M.A. from City University, London, in Property and Law.

Aimée Pitman

Aimée is a strategic advisor and management consultant, working both independently and as a client director in collaboration with Eden McCallum. Formerly a Vice President at Gemini Consulting (now CapGemini), she has worked alongside many executive teams on strategy, operational improvement and organisation transformation projects for over 30 years.

Her experience has been across multiple service-related sectors, most notably in real estate, travel and leisure, retail and financial services.  She is also a non-Executive Director at Warehouse REIT and on the advisory board of McArthurGlen.  She has been working with Native since 2016.

Hardy Sohal

Hardy has over 20 years’ experience in performance marketing, digital acquisition and multi-channel brand & PR – both in UK and international markets.

Having previously held senior management roles in FTSE 100 financial services with Citigroup, Experian and Direct Line, Hardy is spearheading Native’s digital and mar-tech capabilities and infrastructure.

Simon Wilkinson

Simon joined Native in September 2019 from LIV Group where he established the M&G B2R platform.

He is a specialist in the mobilisation and stabilisation of Build to Rent assets and has experience of delivering large scale urban and sub-urban BTR projects.

Rajiv Mehta

Rajiv joined Native in July 2017 and brings with him over 10 years’ experience operating within the Build-to-Rent sector.

Rajiv specialises in the mobilisation, through to stabilisation and on-going management of Build-to-Rent assets across London and the South East.

Acquisitions & Development
Alec Newton

Alec joined Native in 2019 and is responsible for the origination and development of Native’s Build to Rent & Aparthotel assets. He has a comprehensive understanding of the UK real estate markets and has built expertise throughout the regions and in London.

Prior to joining Native, he worked with office developers and institutional landowners on all aspects of Development, Asset Management and Leasing in London. He has a degree in Civil Engineering and French from The University of Nottingham and is a Chartered Surveyor.

Native leads the market in environmental best practice. We were early participants in the Carbon Disclosure Project. And we’re proud to have delivered the first BREEAM Excellent rated aparthotel into the UK in 2018.
